"It's not a jobs plan....it's a re-election plan"

Best quote of the day.

First impression, great campaighn speech.
Emergency, Emergency.
"Pass this Bill Right Now". I counted it 8 times in the first 8 mins.
Very disapointing secret plan, no silver bullet as he lead us to believe.

Just like Obamacare and Stimulus get it passed before any body can read it

Same old same old.

The Admin for the past week and a half has been saying this speech wouldn't offer a silver bullet.

It was a decent speech and seemed to get a good amount of GOP applause.

The real measure of success here is if Obama can work with Republicans in Congress to actually get something passed. Considering many of the proposals he's trying to lead from the middle (again) which hasn't worked before as Boehner can't control his own house.

If *any* legislation is passed Obama will be able to call this a success. Republicans in the next election are going to start fearing an obstructionist label.

And here I was thinking jobs and the economy were the measure of success. WTF was I thinking?

It's because you're obsessing about Obama...

If there's collaboration and a bill the market will respond favorably.

What he should have done two and a half years ago, when he
had CONTROL of the House and Senate, was work on a real solution
to jobs and the economy rather then throw$$$ at his stimulus plan
with his "shovel ready" jobs. Lick and a promise.

However that wasn't his agenda, Obamacare was, which should of
been way down his list in importance. His legacy for healthcare was
more important then the economy. Now suddenly the economy
needs "pass the bill right now." Why now and not before? His main
objective now is to get re-elected in 14 months and needs to have
unemploment drop to 7%. All political BS.
I can't wait for his next episode on how we will pay for this.

And he wants to spend 400 billion more?

What a SCHLOCK (him not you Dave)
