Oh great....
Another Tool fan.

Only saw them twice.
Twisted and strange but two of the absolute best live shows I have ever seen.

Even saw Perfect Circle at UNH...........
Not even close.

yep - first saw Tool as a sidestage band at Lallapalooza in 92 or 93??? I've seen them probably a dozen times. Favorite show was 2000 in NYC at the Roseland ballroom. I was ten feet from Adam the whole night - couldnt hear for two days

my favorites

Steve Gadd, my opinion, best all around, most influential drummer, most studio sought after drummer in the last 35-40years, can play any style

Buddy Rich
Simon Phillips
Jeff Porcaro
Neil Peart
John Bonham
Billy Cobham

nice I doubted anyone else listened to them.

My tastes are all over the place - from old jazz & blues to Hendrix & Floyd to Tool & Meshuggah.

On a personal note

This is an old friend from my days in drum and bugle corps (for anyone who knows what that is, Bayonne Bridgemen)
