Fresh Frech Banana

Finished the clear coat last night and tied a small bucktail flag for this Banana plug before breakfast. Hope to fish this from my yak later this week.

My first Frech Banana reproduction...a BIG thanks to Numbskull for his valuable input on this build...

I have not swum it yet but am happy with the float level.

Now I need to find some big girls feeding on menhaden.....

swims on the surface or just below it... best fished with slow retrieve with short pulls... known to be a big fish plug..

Rest of the Banana's get the basic paint, white, Yel/wht, blu/silv and maybe even bunka and parrot scheme. Figured I'd do the first one a little fancy.

They work best in white. Frech wrote it, Al Bentsen told me it, and it has been my experience as well. I made all sorts of colors, but end up fishing the white one 95% of the time.
