Durham Prosecutor Nifong Apologizes to Duke Lacrosse Players Accused of Rape
Thursday , April 12, 2007
DURHAM, N.C. —
The local prosecutor who charged three Duke lacrosse players with raping a stripper apologized Thursday, acknowledging the decision of state prosecutors to dismiss all charges against them was correct.
"To the extent that I made judgments that ultimately proved to be incorrect, I apologize to the three students that were wrongly accused," Durham County District Attorney Mike Nifong said in a statement.

Actually I never heard Nifong apologize, unless thats new news. The NC DA was the one that said the the word innocent.

Worst part about it is if they had been 3 less fortunate in life white boys they would have plead out and have there azzes sitting in jail right now, but because they were well to do and had the best attorneys ect they got justice. The legal system in this country is a joke
