I think the melamine would work, about 40 bucks for a 4x8 sheet

What I have are short pieces from desks and counters, but none match and some have contoured backsplash molded to them, so wouldn't work to splice together. Check out WilsonArt in Reading. I have picked up the sheets from them to repair counters. Spray adhesive to both sides. Used up last of a sheet on my lathe bench. Be sure you check out the finish as many are matte vs gloss that you want. They don't take cash or deal with the public. Trades only. You can figure that out.

ronnie, i am taking a old counter top out of my camp in the next few weeks...if you want to come get it you can have it. i can measure this week and let you know if you want? its not huge tho...
