I as well was thinking of thinning the hurd, there has to be some value to bird and magics rookie cards in a set as well as jordans, but you maybe right fleabay maybe the way.

At least with fleabay you'll recoup close to retail for many of the rookie cards. Try selling one to a local dealer and you lucky if he offers 25% of he face value. More than likely 10%.
