Bob and I hit Ribbons this morning. Excellent fishing lots white chinners and big sea bass. Bob put on a rubba clinic, without the meat on the tip. Nothing ever changes.

That last one on the 4" split tail after we ran out of crabs was a blast on the lighter rod, that's the second big tog this year on a jig. I routinely catch them in the spring on that same 4" jig around shallow rocks. Everyone knows Black Sea Bass are suckers for jigs, but I doubt too many are catching tog without the meat.
I'm going to wait to see on Saturday, my rain gear s**ks and since the T-top and canvass, I've seen no real need to upgrade. The wind looks managable, not sure I want to fish in a rain this time of year.....burrrr.
