well here's my thoughts on the subject:

You have to look at our prison system first...
because regardless if this guy was a first time offender
lets say we send (sent) him to jail for the ten years instead...

he goes in as a new fish and soon someone wants to diddle his tight ass
he's fresh meat .....and he's gonna be a queen or a C- dumpster .

Now the Public is perfectly OKAY with that thinking...the bastard deserves it,
now he get his just reward...now he'll see what it's like to be terrified. ect .ect.

So in essence we are paying(taxes) for him to be MOLESTED over and over...and when he gets out
he'll be ready to rape even more so... (or pillage)

and not just him... EVERY SINGLE criminal who is being incarcerated for whatever crime
is going to come out of there as a serial rapist or at the very least a much better CRIMINAL
than he or she was before they went in......
(THATS freakin CRAZY!)

sure some are reformed but i'd wager enough of them are being run thru the mill
at our expense under the guise of keeping them in there to PROTECT our way of life and decency
....then they get set FREE to learn how to use all their new tricks.

so that is what i think is BROKEN... we Praise rape! even celebrate it with Mockery.
If we wanted to make a change in society...PRISON should be the LAST place on Earth you could be raped.

One change would be Prison should be the LAST place you see on this Earth!

If the end results of "minimum" and "maximum" security prisons are the same then there is added proof that the system just doesn't work!

What I love is how the people that are so happy to tell us that the system DOES work are so removed from reality that they actually believe that this state is in fine shape and that everyone is just complaining because they can't afford to live in Brookline, Newton or on "The Vineyard"!

I was so happy that Duval had to eat crow and was forced to sign the "Melissa Bill" into law after he tried to change it (Who did he owe that "favor" to?).

He is continuing to prove, beyond a shadow of a doubt, that he is one of (if not the most) inept governor we had ever had.
I'm not saying that there have not been other idiots in office, in fact this state is known for it.
The level of idiocy that Patrick has displayed, nay, PARADED for the public to see is amazing!
