Open the door at the bottom of the bulkhead stairs, spray primer furiously into the bulkhead area, which is not airtight, and then slam door shut hoping overspray dissipates quickly.

I brush all my primer on...I even get to sit on a stool to do it...then hang ...when they feel like drying they do....then take them upstairs and sit in my easy chair,turn on the boob tube and sand away.Corse I put an old towel in my lap first.

What do you use for primer? Oil or latex?

oil sealer an oil primer....the old fashion stuff that everyone is taking off the market cause it works well.
