Yeah they want to try diet changes and exercise before putting me on some sort of script for it.

Right now I'm taking 1200 mg of fish oil 3 times a day.

Hopefully in 6 months when I go back it will be a lot lower.

Trying to go the more natural route by eating healthy and exercise.

then read this

my wife has a malfunctioning thyroid gland ..ok

so i did a study on it to learn all about it....

turns out... it is the bodies great regulator
and what does it require to function properly?

Vitamin D

she got a prescription for 50,000 units of vitamin D

but here is a GREAT TRICK you need to know

sunscreen sheilds us from making vitamin d
so 10 minutes a day exposure is required each day
on both front and back to make more...
hard to do in wintertime except for the reflection
advantage on the sunniest days....

the trick is to use mushrooms on cloudy days

Shiitake mushrooms can be an exceptional source of vitamin D,
as noted in research published in Paul Stamets’ book, Mycelium Running.
Shiitake mushrooms grown and dried indoors have only 110 IU of vitamin D per 100 grams.
But when the shiitakes were dried in the sun, the vitamin D content rose to 21,400 IUs per 100 grams.
Even more surprising, when the mushrooms were dried with their gills facing up toward the sun,
their content rose to
46,000 IU!
