I can show you the light as far as the jam band scene goes. Not really my scene anymore though. I'm more of an early nineties alternative rock fan. Jane's Addiction, Alice in Chains, Pearl Jam, Dinosaur Jr. etc

But I still love listening to the Biscuits live. They have awful voices, but their talent is unmatched IMO...

Also, when fall arrives I always dig this guy out. Maybe because I used to have it in my truck while at the vineyard derby every year.

The Biscuits are an acquired to taste. You have to see them live to believe it. The different versions of their songs are insane talent-wise.

Other bands to check out : Strangefolk, String Cheese Incident, Galactic...
