i just ordered a 6000 w natural gas one thur a friend, just have to get it installed when it arrives!!

what brand and model number? Do they have transfer switches and auto start based on line voltage drops?
Thinking about getting something. What I lost in the freezer in food cost would have paid a big chunk of the gen. cost.

For temp transportable:
Tractor Supply: Champion 4000w
Will run fridge/computer/modem & router/couple lights quite happily.
Bout $400-500 out the door.
