while living in San Francisco, along with fellow east coasters, we laughed at how the Californians dealt with rain and snow.
I bet some native Califorinians would have a laugh at the posts on this thread. My wife went through a few 7+ on the 34th floor. 5.9 was a minor occurence that no one barely noticed.

Thanks to the earthquake, I've now had a female tell me twice this week that she felt nothing.

Just to be more clear, i thought it was ME... if it was a serious earthquake, i would have known what was going on.. I wasnt freaking out because i thought there was an earthquake.
you take things so literally.
