I have one that's a couple of models back. Did'nt know it was waterproof till I got to Cuttyhunk and it dropped into the water while unloading the boat. Probably 5 or 6 feet of water I said rats that phones dead. Everybody was amazed when it did'nt get killed. I guess I should have realized that my camera is waterproof and the phone is the same technology. We have a whole bunch of them and they hold up to construction abuse.

I have that one, just got it last month, I replaced their old model. My old one was beat(2-1/2 years old), dropped it to many times and the only problem was the battery catch broke but that is all. the phone works great. I liked the old compass better than this new one. It's water resistant because all the openings are covered with a gasket. I don't text much so it suits me just fine.

I have one that replaced my boulder. It would be a much better phone if it wasn't refurbished. But I do like the waterproof aspect of the phone. I keep mine on me pretty much at all times especially when we swim out to rocks. Just for for that added safety reasons. It even takes pictures underwater!
