Don't know what action has been on the NW.
But that's where we will go.

 Weather looks awesome.

				 | Made it out as well and same result. I did not see a single boat hooked up so I did not feel that bad. We only trolled and called it quits when the seas started to build. Bad news is I think I spun my prop, good news is it did not happen till I got back to the power plant in plymouth. Could only go 5kts from there so it was painful but we made the best of it by stopping at browns bank for an hour or so. I tried hailing you 4 J's at one point, not that I had anything to report.
Took my prop off when I got home but nothing seems obvious regarding spinning it. Should it? Hoping I don't have a bigger issue........... |

				 | Spun hub isn't obvious unless your trying to get on a plane. Otherwise prop apears fine. I'll be out Friday

				 | We never saw a fish or marked one. Tons of bait. Some reports of fish sighted and hooked on radio but never saw a boat hooked up. Sorry Elmo, never heard you on radio. |

				 | Thanks Freak on spun hub issue, was thinking it would be more internal. I think I will have a new hub put in it and use as a back up. What are others thoughts on aluminum vs s steel. Do you really get that much better performance and fuel economy with (identical size and pitch) in stainless?
Saw on another site that Dom went 4/7 yesterday! I saw him a few times without a fish on so figured things were slow for everyone out there. Clearly I was wrong!

Clearly I was wrong! | I fished next to Dom several times on Monday and never saw him with a fish. Not sure what his record was Monday but that guy must have a Klingon cloaking device to make hooked up fish invisible..

 | Yeah, saw that report. It sounds like there were fish at one spot. Tough to leave and keep searching when you mark so much bait. |

				 | Was out today looking for them on top. Ran everywhere and back again. Only tuna was one small pod just off the sw corner and some quick up and downs way east/northeast. Tons of whales/bait though. Heard my plan b had fish but that was another 40 miles each way onto already 250-300 mile trip. Good to be out there again since its only my 2nd time looking for them this year. |

That was an overall somewhat disappointing report. Got an invite to go again next Tuesday but right now I am thinking of going comm bass fishing for a few days instead with my son, maybe catch a few cod while I am in the 'hood. Hmmmm, what to do.... |
