#^&#^&#^&#^& Him......He's a Yankee so I will never like him. I would have preferred it was a bunt single, that he got thrown out on, trying to squeeze it into a double that cost them the game....but I can't have everything. 
Mantle was a Drunk, DiMaggio was Over-rated and Gherig was a Lazy POS!

And there is what endears you to most local fans.... even when you tout the Bruins and their Stanley Cup run, you have to go the pink hat route.....
For the record, I think Jeter has shown nothing but class over his entire career. Credit Buck Showalder (sp) who was Yankee manager his rookie camp. Buck told the equipment manager to give Jeter a single digit number as he thought the shortstop was going to be a great one..... |
