please dont put me adrift - i'll stop being abrassive. mass dmf site says it's opening up on april 1st - anyone know if that's true or is it the 15th again. jig vs. bait - most of the time i prefer to jig but some circumstances call for bait, even if you just deadstick it while jigging. all my large cod have all been on bait.

my 1st wife didn't like me fishing so much

I'm going to get my engine service for 200hrs before end of March then good to go. Keep me in the loop for anything after April 1!

Given the diversity of the human species, there is no “normal” human genome sequence. We are all mutants.

Aww c'mon... Abrasiveness is what's gonna let us get through the next two months! A little good natured smack talk never hurt anyone, it's all in jest. Trip can't come soon enough. I'll bring a gumby suit for you so you can paddle around when we toss you over. Cod skishing anyone?
When I spoke to the cap he said it was mainly a jig bite that time of year. But I hear you- sharpies seem to say that the pool fish always comes in on a clam. I figure I'll gut one of the first ones we get, if they're loaded with herring I'll stick to the jig, otherwise I might consider dropping some bait down.
I think f4s is right on that one.
Might be down for a day of fishing once we get to that time, I can help chip for gas and will bring a six pack of good beer.

Unless there's doggies, then it's all jigs. I gotta do more cujrls, I know those old guys out back there are just gonna been sunning themselves anyway, so for them jig / bait who cares....
