2nd on the Muxinex sp (its early) stuff works PISSAH NEBE
and i don't endorse many PILLS...
i had bronchitus last fall first time in many moons, and that stuff
cleared away all the mucous like magic....
nice to be able to breath again

I think Mucinex is just plain old Guaifenesin but I could be wrong about that. Either way, it helps.
My doctor said the cough has been particularly tenacious and has hung on sometimes for weeks in his patients. Just seems to be the way this year's flu is behaving.
On the plus side he saw fewer then normal numbers of patients go towards pneumonia or bronchitis.
I'm going for a run as soon as I can handle a flight of stairs without being completely out of breath and nearly passing out. It's the better then any drug for clearing out the lungs.

hope you're feeling better, bro.
pneumonia is nothing to mess with ... fever, chills, can't breath ... not good.
i think i had the same thing people are describing ... i coughed so hard and persistently that i ended up breaking a rib or two earlier this winter. it hurt so bad when i coughed the doc had to break out the painkillers.

throat is still a bit raw.. nose is packed with yellow mucus a little light headed still but nothing like before..
phew. that sucked. |
