wasn't this mainly caused from the comm. bass season zoo out there last year. Don't see this will deter that over parking situation as 20 bucks to make 500 plus is a good deal.

I wonder how much it would cost to launch and park at Boston harbor??? or Hyde park harbour????
After town tax money used to build the ramp I think it's quite generous to allow you gents first crack at geting to the fish.
Last year only eighty four trailers in front of a townie
PS Not trying to bust anyone's chops just trying to give a little insight from a different perspective .
PPS Gas or diesel,,everyone pays the town tax for the overhead of the tanks,,pumps, etc.

Sure would like to try other places to trailer and fish and park. Any Ideas for twenty bucks with Guaranteed reservations in advance ???

Quite true. It's also limited to 40 permits per day and the permits are only issued 24hrs prior to that day.the real issue is there's still no real parking for trailers.the Cape in general is a lousy place to trailer a boat.Look at Barnstable[as you know].It drives me nuts especially in the fall when the Resident only ramps are empty.

Hearing this makes me happy to live in Falmouth. No fees.

However, from what I hear a lot of places have parking fees or ramp fees. I just think that Chatham is jumping on the band wagon. It is a bummer because as a trailering boater if I want to trailer someplace to get an easy shot to Stellwagen or Monomoy it is annoying due to lack of parking and fees etc.
