				Sigarms academy

I am looking for info and opinions on the Sigarms academy up in New Hampshire. They seem to offer a number of classes for what appears to be reasonable prices.

I would be interested in the concealed carry courses, self defense, and women's safety (for wife).

Thanks.

Carl the Sigarms place usually has a pretty long waiting list. I would recommend you call AG guns in Lowell Ma. They run a school and can send you a book. These guys are real pros. They offer Basic pistol, concealed carry, combat handgunning, combat shotgun, and much more.

		 fishweewee,
Send me some info about it and I will let you know after I look into it (cost, LOCATION). My Dad took a combat shooting course many years ago that was held in NH by some famous author. They were shooting almost 1,000 rounds of .38/ .357 a day out of revolvers. My Dad really enjoyed it and I have considered taking one myself. I have used the live fire simulators at my gun club and enjoyed that a lot. My father and I are also waiting for my married little brother to be free so that we can take the government rifle course where they certify you on the M1 which upon completion allows you to purchase a governent surplus M1 at a real reasonable cost. They offer the course at Braintree and Hanson gun clubs. Has anyone else taken any of these courses?

		RL-
NH? .38's till the barrels turn red? Sounds like Lethal Force Institute (LFI) with Massaad Ayoob up in Concord.
M-1? Sounds like DCM to me.
I'll try to scare up some materials.

Thanks for the information Specialist, I will keep that in mind.

FWW - don't think I'm ready for CQB.

Redlite - M1 - sweet - watch your thumb when you press the clip in. The slide comes forward real fast.

I picked one up about 8 years ago. H&R - Barrel is in real nice shape. I've only shot a few times with it when I lived in NJ. Haven't used it since.

		Yeah Bill, MP-5 =
But did you notice how much they run now?

A registered-receiver-double-push-pin-lower piece (the most desirable) will cost you over ten grand!
