Atom 40 spec.'s- Length: 7" (7 1/4" advertised)
Width at widest part: 1 3/16"
Front (head taper) starts 1/2" into the body,
forming a perfect round head. Swim plate is
installed dead center. Line tie loop hole is 1/4"
below centerline.
Rear sloping taper begins at about the 4" mark
(measured from the head).
Tail is about 9/16 dia. and stays fairly uniform
for about 3/4", then tapers up toward the 1 3/16
forward section.
Wood 40's were 3 oz., plastic 3 1/4 oz.
Hooks were 5/0 or 4/0 depending on when it
made.
Hope this helps.
