It's funny but my heart was pounding when I heard it coming. Then when I finally saw it, I told myself to calm it down, and make a good shot. So I took a couple of deep breaths and tracked him with the bow fully drawn . Then it was like watching a hunting show. The arrow did not pass all the way through, but was sticking out of both sides, and both sides broke of leaving about 5" inside him. He actually dropped close to where we park our trucks so it was a short drag. I am psyched and still pumped. |

Made it out this afternoon and got busted, heard him stepping through the swamp, plop, plop, plop, then he grunted, winded me and took off!

Our group took another 8 out of there this morning. There was some shooting from down the mill way.
