when i was a kid, my dad took all of the left over popcorn from obriens pub and we went out to brenton point.. he dumped it all at the corner where the yellow ladder is and within minutes, it was the most biblical bird event i had ever seen- seagulls, pigeons, every bird within a square mile converged on the corner.. cars could barely pass..
