i'm sure they have their place, but the gags slammer i believe is what they are. no good, acts like a sail. casts 10 feet. i think it's more of a boat plug.

I agree, they constant line catch, and tumble. I dont trust them at all for holding up to fish... BUT I know a guy that has taken two 50"+ fish on these lures from the shore. They work in a handful of unique circumstances.
