there's also the possibility that someone peeled it off

but i have no conscious recollection of ever putting it ON the

plate....so i plan on putting a plexi glass cover over the whole

license plate and make it bullet proof just in case.

I never really stopped anyone for that alone, but I heard so many times then why do they sell them if its illegal I actually went and looked at the packaging in the store that sld the plastic covers, and on the back it said in BOLD LETTERS, "CAUTION MAY NOT BE LEGAL IN ALL JURISDICTIONS".

I GOT THE BIGGEST CHUCKLE OUT OF THAT.

You can't peel it off it is cut up so when you try to peel it off it breaks up

yes true.....unless you stack them on top of one another

so i will sharpen up a chisel and remove the old ones first.
