Anglers needed for canyon charter!
Hey all,
Myself and a few buddies have a canyon charter scheduled for this upcoming Monday, but need two more people to fill the remaining spots. We are sailing on the Viking Gulfstar out of Point Judith on Monday (27th) evening, and expect to land at approximately 1600 on Wednesday night (29th).
This is an ultra-limited trip, we have ten people confirmed already and just need two more. Price is $550/person, and this is all-inclusive. High-end tackle, food (good food, not just hamburgers etc... think prime rib, major noms), bait, and non-alcoholic drinks will be provided. The only extra cost will be tips for the mates and any beer you want to bring along. Steam time should be between 6-8 hours, the boat cooks at 20 kt. This trip is going to focus mainly on trying new techniques- Jigging and popping for YFT will be a focus, going deep for swords at night. We'll also be doing the standard troll and chunk, of course. We have a bunch of gear and goodies donated from Fin-Nor, Pt Jude Lures, the Saltwater Edge, and others... We'll be testing out new products and there will be some giveaways at the end of the trip.
I should also note that don't worry about your experience level- the anglers on this trip range from extensive canyon time to zero, so the trip will be catering to all levels.
