Women with babies seem to think they live in a strange world where whatever they do is suppose to be acceptable - be it changing there kid in any public place, pushing a stroller down the middle of the parking lot while talking on a cell phone (had that one yesterday), breastfeeding in public, etc.

On the one hand, I can't imagine having to go through the 9 months of hormonal and physical hell that they are subjected to... on the other hand, if you're going to sit on a bench in the mall and start breastfeeding, don't get mad at me for taking a glance.

Tell her kids to see if they can find the "Baby Ruth bar" in the water.

They had an incident in Hyde Park at one of the public pools where a mother was changing her kid right next to the pool.
When they asked her not to do that she got mad and tossed the diaper into the pool, thus closing the pool for cleaning for days.

I don't care who you are, if you don't have the decency, intelligence or presence of mind to know that it's not proper to "sh*t in the pool", then screw you and your kids. You will not be allowed back here ever again!

Of course in our gentrified, wussificated, spineless PC world this mother would be treated as a victim of society or "The Man" and given the royal treatment for being a filthy human being.

I would have informed her that it was not her HOME, so please don't treat it like a dump!

Kind of makes you wonder just how healthy that family really is?

It's one thing to feed them quietly, covered discretely with a blanket.
It's an invitation to stare if you decide to "whip-it-out" in public just because junior looks hungry.
Secondly, just how old does a child have to be before continued breast feeding looks "weird"? "Sorry for the interruption, but my 9 year old is hungry" would be just plain creepy.

Maybe if they are the "exhibitionist" type you could walk up with a cup of joe and ask if she could spare a little?

I remember this was on TV some time last year. Did a google search for the video and they have support groups and forums about "Extreme Breastfeeding". Blah.

I didn't watch the video. Granted it's on YouTube but might be NSFW.
