I just don't think it makes any sense to say, "oh, if you want a shot at a weekly, go ahead but don't associate with the team--we don't want people thinking we're killing too many fish". We're killing the fish whether we admit it or not.
That wasn't the message I was sending and yes, its a kill tournament by every definition.

The tag is still hanging from the guide on the rod, but I have used the reel--on a different rod. It's not a bad little schoolie reel. Probably could handle a decent fish on the rod that it's sitting on.
