They have the two worst throwing arms in baseball, in Varitek and Martinez.
Someone should have clued in Theo over the winter that if the new look Sox are all about "pitching and run-prevention", turning any walk into a de facto double because their catchers can't throw out a freaking guy on crutches isn't the best way to achieve that.
