This thread got me looking and I found these that I kinda like rather than tall all rubber boots.
Rubber Boots, Yachting Boots, By Pro Line at Sportsman's Guide
50 bucks, only 11" high and soft top.
Wadda ya think?

Those are awesome! Yeah I typically wear sperry's but when raining or cold I break out the servus deck boots with the non marking soles. I even have a pair of flip flops with white soles for taking the boat to the beach.

I have a pair of Penn deck boots that are fantastic, highly recommended
Xtra-tuff also makes a pair of sneaker style deck shoes that look good
