Plovers, Terns, sand beetles... et al.. the full arsenal of whatever species that is threatened, endangered, etc. ..WILL become extinct at some point, despite the delay, and their usefullness in keeping beaches closed to humans, is why I classify them as "tools" in the warchest of those that would keep us away...

Species go extinct EVERY day... beit mammal, rodent, insect, marine...whatever..ooops there goes another one...

I have posted this video before, so excuse me for the repeat..
BUT Carlin nails it and drives it out of the park...he is so right..
funny... and beware.. PROFANE...but is is Carlin, and he always made his point with profanity...

even if you saw it before, it is still worth a look...
he was soooo Right on, with this one.

well Karl i got back about an hour ago from the SHOW at the saltpond ctr and "that"[Carlin] was perfect.It will be in the paper tomorrow.I'll comment after reading.I want to see if they saw what I saw/see!
