You're getting well skilled at completely changing the premise of your position as soon as you're proven wrong.
It doesn't matter. Whatever he say's is complete BS. You need a teleprompter when you don't speak from the heart. Otherwise you can get by with a few scribbles on your palm.

I'm sure Palin is a smart person. Anyone on this forum sure can't pass judgment. What she isn't, is someone I want heading this country out of the disaster that Obama is putting us in.

And you take it one step further, don't change the initial premise, just ignore it.

No wonder you and scott argue well together. I agree with you on the second part though.

I'm not ignoring the FACT that your hero used a teleprompter in a 6 grade classroom.
He may or may not have been able to keep up with the kids and their tough questions without it.

For someone who gets moist over a few scribbles in Palin's palms you sure are quick to defend Obama for something he does everyday.

See now here's the problem... you only pay attention to half of the post.

First off, Obama is no hero of mine but like I've said in the past, you'd have a problem with the way he wipes his ass if there was a news story about it.

Second, the few scribbles in Palin's palm isn't what's pathetic about her. Initially, it's the amusement of her having to write crib notes on her hand like a 8th grader taking a math test. Then there's the fact that she criticizes Obama's use of a teleprompter while she has to reference talking points on her hand like "Economy. Cut Tax. Lift American Spirits."

It's a fine demonstration of how she's being used as a figurehead and has no business no the national stage.

Then there's the pathetic aspect of the Conservatives criticizing Obama's use of a teleprompter. I'm willing to bet that just about every speech Bush made, he used note cards or a teleprompter.

Quite frankly, I think harping on the topic is juvenile. You guys act like there's a wizard behind the curtain giving Obama orders via a prompter. There are far more critical issues to contest than him referencing words from a screen.

As usual, context is everything here and also blatantly absent.

Obama did use a teleprompter for prepared remarks to a pool of reporters at a school. Obama did not us a teleprompter for a meeting with 6th grade students at the same school. It was just reported as such on the right wing blogs and the sheep, hungry to believe anything to makes Obama look bad eagerly lapped it up.

The point of an interview is to inquire as to what you think. If you need help remembering the basics "energy, budget and tax" then perhaps you're not thinking of a whole hell of a lot.

I render your criticism MOOT

So you're just part of the problem. Why do you hate America?

Why am I part of the problem? And what is the problem as you define it?

...the press must have looked awfuly funny sitting in those tiny desks...I think you are giving the Teleprompter Twit far too much credit...that's a 1st grade classroom if I ever saw one....he needed a teleprompter for 1st graders.....not 6th graders....

but please continue hopelessly defending the "One" ...we could all use a good laugh...

I am not without hope. Unlike some of you, I actually believe in the American dream...
