Pete Sheppard fired at WEEI

That sucks. I like Pete just as much as the Big O, and with all the vacation the O gets Pete had his own show for 3 months out of the year. I have listened to the sports hub yet, but i will if Pete heads over there. Im sure he will, and will get paid handsomely for it.

I like Pete. He probably priced himself out. He deserves his own show anyway. 98.5 would be a good landing spot.

I have no idea why he was fired (since I honestly have barely listened in a couple weeks due to incessant political discussion) but if it was for talking politics on sports radio I hope they fire anyone else who keeps it up as well.

I can go get political commentary from anywhere. Don't need or want it on sports radio.
