Thanks for the great info. Looks like the wire hole is just about center or maybe just a tad lower. I am thinking of building a prototype which is 9" long, 1-1/2" dia. and 3-1/2 oz. I am not the fastest builder but I will post a pic as soon as its done.

Thanks Again!

P.S. Yes I should be at the Plug-fest if all goes well.

help

I've build a few.....heres a couple things that might help ya.....I center drill mine.....mark the hook and eye placement on the wood blank.....when I (first)did them I fought to line the lip to the hookholes and eyesyou got to line it up and put the screws in was a pain..........now I mark everything and cut the square ends off then I put the lip on. then put the body in a v-block and use a hole starter and mark the hookholes and eyes then I drill them....I find it alot easyer to line everything to the lip then to line up the lip to everything...I didn't use any weight(lead)good luck ed

its no ones fault

I make mine 8" long and 1.35" in diameter... lip is installed dead center, I use WRC and no lead.. 4/0 hook in front, 3/0 middle and singel 6/0 siwash on rear...
