I'm actually considering practicing casting. Sounds pathetic but that's exactly how I feel everytime I go to the canal. I can outcast plenty but get outcasted by jsut as many. There are definitely times when distance counts and I really think it does there based on my limited time. Need to work on the mechanics.
Never work on mechanics until you have first justified buying a new more expensive rod and reel to match....probably a few more aerodynamic plugs as well.
