Man, I read that and I was bummed... 
Captain Lou on Saturday mornings...Chief Jay Strongbow...Killer Kowalski...the Tomahawk Chop and the Claw submission hold.... 
It's a lousy rainy day...I'm gonna get back into bed and pull my Roy Rogers bedspread up to my chin until Sky King comes on...that'll make me feel better... 
Sky King's niece Penny was hot...well, to a 9 year old anyway...  |

Let's not forget a local hero....Jimmy the "SuperFly" Snooker,,, I think he lives nearby, I've seen him at the Regretta in F.R.

Quite a few WWWF guys were locals.
Walter "Killer" Kowalski came from north of Boston (maybe Reading?) and was a seasonal camper at Bourne Scenic Park, and a sometimes Canal fisherman.
Professor Turo Tanaka used to own a bar called T-San's in Fall River, which I believe is now called the Depot.
Chief Jay Strongbow was from Providence, legend had it. He had a brother there who owned a business and had pictures of Strongbow all over the walls. |
