I want to get your attention for a moment... This is a fishing board. This is where people that fish come to talk fishing and this little corner of the board is where we discuss things non-fishing.

It's quite apparent that we are all just running in verbal circles here and nobody is convincing anyone of anything. SOoooo, seeing that your arguments, some maybe even valid, are a little to late at this point to alter the course of history, why don't you back up a bit and lay off the tamborine ringing, OK?

If you want to talk fishing, that's one thing. As of now, you have 66 posts of which 64 represent how wrong and under the ether we are while you, the enlightened ambassador of rational thinking, attempt to steer us to the righteousness, one post was a herring question, and one was an off handed joke... So, what I'm trying to say here is that you might want to try to bump up the FISHING posts instead of the political side show here. OK?

If I catch a fish, I will post on the board where, when, and how, but other than that, I don't have much to lend in terms of fishing. I'm here to learn about that.

In regard to the war. I think that what is going on is nauseating. I feel that I can make a difference, but I understand that's not what this page is all about.

"nauseating". your a real piece of work . whats nauseating is you protesters. you make me sick! i waiting for the national gaurd to make an example out of one you sh*#theads when a protest goes wrong and then we will see how many of you are running your mouths.you spineless #*@#$%*#@^#$

Well you can ask & participate on fishing topics as that is what we are here.

For you to make a difference, you should do so by trying to elect the officials that will represent you and your views. At this point all you are doing is helping to create some animosity here from others towards those with your position. Some of your points are well argued but you have one terrific flaw. You mentioned that you are an idealist. Unfortunately, idealism just isn't realistic... I know, I was idealist once too - though I had much different ideals...

And I feel that some of these threads have become nauseating, especially where I feel that you dishonor those casualties we've had in Iraq. Now I KNOW I can make a difference right here as I have ultimate control of the "jiggleable handle" in internet parlance....

Look... I am not "for the war" either. I feel we should not have gone in at all. (And I am ex-service. U.S.A.F. 87 - 91 no less!)

HOWEVER, as John said, it is too late now. Now is the time to support our troops!

So, get on the band-wagon or get on the boat outt'a here!

this guy is getting way too much air play . And so is the war !

One thing though it is good we have people that protest ( tea party ) . We have that in us and the right to do it THANKS to those that gave their lives for us to be able to show our distaste for some things that happen in this country . One question where are all the protesters when taxes go up and services reduced . Too many DONT try and protest . In Ct we are loosing all kinds of services , all licenses are going up STEAPLY , the govenor layed off workers , made crappy deals trying to lure a team here no one wanted here for the price tag , enron stole our money , the govenor took favors for favors and the money grubber gave himself a 49% raise and no one said boo . NOW THATS WRONG !

As far as the war I wont debate that here or any other web site I go to . Politics and religion : things that dont always make for good debates .
