No, the Whitehouse said they were open to it when they agreed to keep the provisions set to expire, and Congress has talked about introducing additional legistlation to help ensure privacy.
It's not like it happens overnight.

Yeah, just what I thought. Very vague and wishy washy. They ar "open to it" and Congress has "talked about additional legislation". Doesn't sound very convincing to me.
But you go ahead and "don't stop believing" just like your favorite 80's band used to sing.
