Just saw this thread. Nice job on your first stripers on the fly. You'll have a tough time transitioning back to catching trout .

i can only imagine 10 lbs on a fly. like you im used to 1.5 lb trout since i started on the fly 10 years ago. It is a goal off mine to learn to fly fish for striper for next year.

Imagine something about 10 pounds, built like a football, looks like a tuna, and is bound and determined to get to Portugal after you hook up (and after a couple of seconds you think its going to make it there). It's about that time.
