Beck is getting free publicity from all of this. I'd be willing to bet that he'll have a bit of a ratings spike because people who have never seen the show will tune in to see what's going on. Some will switch the channel right away and others may decide that they like the show. The people who already watch aren't going anywhere because a couple of sponsors pulled their ads. And I'm sure there are already other companies waiting to get ad slots on his program. I haven't seen more than 30 seconds of the show, but it seems to be pretty popular with a lot of people. Just not my cup of tea.

Beck has lost it. He had started out with a pretty good show when first aired. He has run out of good content and now just bobbles, redundant. His shows are basically repititious, over and over ,just different verbiage. Maybe he is back on the sauce.  I just click to another station such as "The Blue Planet," much more interesting.
Rush
He is very patriotic and smart and makes about 35 million a year. he is a pillhead and must be brain burnt. You can only take so much of him. After listening to him for a half hour or so,  you need to turn on at least country music. |

Bryan, if you feel that the current president's policies will undermine the future of this country and eliminate the foundation that made this country great, I believe it is patriotic to want him to fail.

You can be patriotic to your country but, you do not have to stand for any one person if they do not believe in anothers believe or reasoning. That is why you have Republicans, JackAsses (Democrats) and people like me, Independents.
Example:
The French underground. They believed in their country but, not Hitlers plan of the way they would be living under his rule. Hitler failed
The Germans:
The German generals were patriotic to their country and after awhile they felt that Hitler had to go even tho they failed with their plot to assasinate, they were patriotic. At the end Hitler failed.
I am patriotic to my country, I believe in this country, served in the USMC. Does not mean that I believe in this President. He is leading us down the wrong path with the healthcare plan, a one payer system and creating to much debt for you and I.
Also noticed how you choose your words. One of President Obama's down falls in his ratings was for using a word like the one you used, he used the word stupidly. Be carefull about the words you use, they could make one feel that one is dumb.

This is not an ad hominem attack. Rush has stated publicly that his primary motivation is to create ad revenue for his sponsors.
