how were these style of plugs supposed to swim? I made mine to go sub-surface, although at a crawl I'm thinking it might stay just on top or close enough to create a surface wake.

finished up my habs stixx, can't wait to get it in the water. I also finished a danny using the dimensions from the article in the fisherman magazine.

Swam the long yellow one today .. swam quite well .. I had good luck before knocking off a long thin Chum plug using basswood ,,unweighted .. cast and swims well ..
