I got two months and it's still an addiction. I can smell them a mile away and I'm about a half second from bumbing a smoke sometimes..but I just remind myself how much time I have into it and that I would have to start all over again at day one. I think after a couple weeks it gets easier. not easy, but easier.
Stick with it!

I quit once for a year and a half. I picked 'em up again in a heartbeat.
Now, I just plain hate 'em. I didn't before.

Hey Bart, I'm about to hit 4 weeks.
I had a few rough days at first.. That was my physical withdrawal. I must admit the Wellbutrin helped immensely.
Today, I can go for about 5-6 hours at times when I don't think about a smoke. That nasty obsession has gone.
When I do think about a smoke I forget about it almost immmediately thereafter.
Go for it Bart,,,,Give it HELL. Mike

Yes it does ..The cravings slowly get further and further apart. The cravings also slowly get weaker and weaker . I was a 3 pack a day smoker ,(luckys , pallmalls).. That was like 18 yrs. ago . They say 5 days your not physicly addicted anymore . I'd say the little annoying things ,dreams, enjoying the smell,,last a good year. I don't want to overwhelm anyone with that . Thats nothing like the first week you went thru ,, Easy time .. Now that 3 pack a day guy seems like someone eles. That guy (me)was a hard core junky . Don't start again . You'll be pissed at yourself later . Time to grow a pair and not wimp out to the tobacco industry .
