That was one of the "selling points" on Iraq.
I believe the "plan" was:
-invade Iraq
-secure the country
-find those WMDs Saddam is stockpiling (where are those anyway)
-secure the oil production sites
-receive highly discounted oil
-rejoice that we spread democracy and took down an evil dictator |
