Good for you on calling the state. Usually, those stations are required to have a corporate number available and it is typically on the window of the booth.
It is against the fire code in Massachesetts to have those auto-triggers on gas pumps. Call the state Fire Mashalls office and make their life miserable - like they made yours that day
