most or some towns

have a tree warden and you have to talk it over with them before you take down a tree that large or old in some cases...

and as others have mentioned ...cut that tree down
and you'll have certain flights flying a bit to low by mistake....

i've seen lots of tree damage from airplanes and had to clean it up on long driveways immediately after just cleaning it...because they were flying to low....in the past.

3 - 15' trees Tell em to pound sand. My response would be Show Me The Money

If it can't fall and hit anything (like your house) I'd leave it be.
