Just called my home heating oil company - this mornings price is 2.65 - it was 2.55 a couple of days ago when I got a fill-up on my tenant's tank.
It went up on election day the dispatcher told me
Anybody surprised ?

Tell me about it.
The price is ~40% of what it was... trip costs for fuel would be sub-$400 instead of $850ish..
Would love to lock in for ~1500Gallons for Canyon season

Would be nice.
We would be much more inclined to run if the fuel was low; otherwise @4+/gal you end up waiting for weather AND reports, not just weather...
