As with any weapon used in self defense, it goes back to an old adage: If you pull out a weapon, you had better be prepared to use it.
You might think that just brandishing a weapon will be a deterrent, but most street trash follow the theory that "You don't have the guts to do it!"
In a situation where you are out numbered, if you cannot escape (the safest option) make sure that you target the "ringleader" and put him down for good. Unfortunately, you cannot show him the mercy that he wouldn't show you if the roles were reversed.

Hopefully those dirtbags will make the mistake of trying the same stunt with someone that can and will make them pay their ultimate price.
If an animal attacks a person, it is usually "put down" because it has proven to be a threat to people. Why can't we treat these "animals" the same way? They've already proven that they're a threat.

Our timing never seems to jibe John.......having kids will do that to you...am I right?! We will get together I hope.......and hopefully if somebody decides to bother us I can be there for you......at least to distract them so you can get a running start.....cause once my feet start moving you are 4 steps to my one!!
