It's all good, bassballer
Stevie is da man - and from the start the whole point of the Habs tourney was gonna be fun, good sportsmanship and a good reason to get together to remember a great guy.
Issues? Hey, we don't have no stinkin' issues
Good luck to ya, see ya this weekend

Shadow, you can do it either way, guess you're a SoCo guy -
You can go directly to Steve or any of the guys at Quaker Lane to register and pick up your pin at the same time.
Quaker Lane was added to the roster of official weigh-stations and registration locations just last week. As hard as it is to believe, The Habs tourney planning only began a month ago as a way to commemorate the first anniversary of John's passing.
Great crew at QL if you are over that way - stop in, say hi and sign up - it's as easy as 1, 2, 3
This is the ultimate in no-muss, no-fuss bass tourneys - and it's gonna be a helluva good time to boot.
See ya this weekend

GOOD LUCK to all fishing in the Hab's tourney. I wish I had not made a commitment prior to this event. Enjoy some laughs and good times and think of John when you let one rip.

I'm sorry, Norm - I was trying to get down at 5:00
sharp and didn't make it until 6:45 - I was bumming, a lot of folks bugged out early to get to their spots, I missed a lot of people I really wanted to see.
Had a bunch of loose ends to tie up for the weekend and had to get BOTH 704's fixed - one was DOA
Fortunately, the chromed one that was given to me as a gift by Senor Habs was able to be put back in working order - Kevin at Edward's squared me, I usually do my own but there were a coupla issues that had me stumped. It was the reel I wanted to be using anyway for the mojo factor - unfortunately it didn't help me much
I took Pt Jude Joe, JohnR and Kevin from Edward's to a UDL they hadn't been to before, it was a bit of a walk in full regalia
The payoff was the last 25 yards - it's a little...uh... craggy and ya gotta ford a tidal pool, I stepped in one of the pot holes and almost had my hat float - ran into some gorilla sized razor-lipped bastages and then everyone just finally got tired of feeding eels to bluefish. Man, they was some big buggas
At least there were no casualties and no man overboard drills - the swell was pretty small.
Anyway, see ya Sunday - it's gonna be a corker and I'll get to see all the people I missed last nite. There's gonna be some pretty nifty surprises - be there or be square
Oh yeah, BTW - this spot I took 'em to - also happens to be an excellent 'tog spot once the water cools a little more - so get yourself ready for some of Uncle Crafty's Drunken Blackfish Chowder
See ya soon
