Regardless of the reality--the perception among most of the electorate will be that McCain came in and blew up a done deal. Unless something is hashed out today--and the actual blame crosses party lines and is centered in the House--get ready for President Obama.

Talk about pretentious and not having a grasp on the seriousness of this problem.
