My best spooled story. I was flounder fishing Assateague Island MD and hooked a 1-2lb Back Sea Bass, it was about 20 ft from me when a 4ft shark ate it. I had a 10lb test freshwater spinning outfit, it spooled me 2-3 times right to the knot, smoke billowing out of my reel and then finally deciding he was done playing and just swam away spooling me and popping the knot. (my drag siezed and the reel was ruined) This was 35 years ago!
